Since the birth of the Church of Christ, there have been racial and cultural
tensions. The Alantic Slave Trade introduced a new, destructive and anti-Christian dynamic to race relations. Enslavement
and subjugation of the darker skin peoples of the world received the endorsement of recognized religious authorities (i.e.
the Roman Catholic Church, the Pope and certain Protestant denominations). These endorsements were reinforced by Christian religious
images and symbols that were effectively "Europeanized" (while simultaneously being "de-Africanized").
On this page I will attempt to deconstruct the myths and deceptions that have
hung over Western Christianity and has visited untold pain and suffering upon countless people of color who have endeavored
to follow Christ and worship God in Spirit and in truth.
