Be Your Dream (College & Career Readiness): explores colleges and careers through the intiative of student voice and interest. Using hands-on apporaches and experiential learning tools, this college and career readiness program inspires high school students to dream big and guides them to meaningful goal setting, action planning, preparing for college, leadership and career exploration.

Be Your Dream will meet once a week with an adult leader to explore what is important to you, the numerous options that are open to you after high school, & how you learn best. You'll enhance your leadership skills, nurture a positive self-identity, & build your understanding of the importance of teamwork.  

Additional Background

East Metro Integration District (EMID) is a collaborative effort that fosters voluntary integration among St. Paul Public Schools and nine suburban school districts in the eastern Twin Cities metro area. Participating districts include:

The school districts have united to provide culturally responsive learning opportunities that enable all young people to engage fully in the social, economic, and democratic lives of their communities.  EMID Office of Equity and Integration supports afterschool youth programs in and provides other services to schools across all member districts. All of the programming purposefully embeds four key components: intra/inter-cultural competency, high academic achievement, civic engagement and leadership.
